It seems now a days I cannot even blow off some steam... without blowing off some steam and breaking things! This was supposed to be a POV Lingerie barefoot revving video with the Peugeot 306 but I was rudely interrupted by smoke pluming past me and the smell of burning, great! What have I done now? :P I check out the engine to see I must have blown a pipe or some thing some where, as the engine is splattered with oil and there is a pretty black puddle on my drive way. After using someone elses S-Type Jaguar for a day, I'd forgotten how much I like them. I also totally forgot how I swore never to have another after I had problem after problem with my old one a few years ago. So I bought this one! I knew it needed a little service and a little money being spent but I loved the colour and had to go for it. A slight misfire they said.. I start the car and rev the engine up for you, that is more than a slight misfire! The car is not running rough, it runs like shit!!!! Wearing flip flops I rev the engine up thinking the misfire will get a little better when it's up to temperature. Still, can't deny the 3.0 V6 does sound good, just perhaps it needs to see a grease monkey before I play with it some more!

It's late at night and about to head off to bed, I get a phone call from a friend in need of a lift, it's way too late to get dressed again so I walk out to my little 306 in my PJs... Only to find the tire is flat! I call my friend again to let her know I cannot come to help her but she is stranded and I have no choice but to pump it up my foot. I should have known better than to be using an old Peugeot to get around town but for running errands, parking around town and navigating small streets, its much easier. However now I am about to experience why these little cars have a bad name for reliability! Wearing high platform wood mule stripper heels I pump, crank and bounce in my seat in an attempt to get the car fired up. Growing increasingly more desperate and frustrated, I pump the pedal harder, faster and firmer.. Surprisingly eventually the Peugeot starts up and seems to be running okay but with all the trouble I had getting it started, I want to be sure the car is okay and give the gas pedal some more abuse and rev its engine up! After the battery went flat on the 306, I have charged it up so I can move the car back into its proper parking space. It starts fine with no problems but it doesn't sound like the car is running perfect and it stalls while I am trying to pull away.
I manage to drive it up, where I have to do a really tight 3 point turn, unsure if I can actually do it, I try anyway but I cannot seem to find reverse gear! The cars gearbox just grinds with every gear I try, not only does the gear stick not show where reverse is, the car will not go into any gear! Getting stressed I try and force the car into gear...

Armed with a shopping list and some things to drop off, I get into my Mercedes C240 to run my days errands. The car starts up perfectly as I would expect, however as I put the car into reverse, the engine splutters and stalls... It does not quite catch again when I try and crank the car back to life, it splutters, coughs and teases me by coming so close to starting but it just doesn't quite get there.
