It’s been quite some time since I’ve driven a stick shift car, especially a stick shift car as old and clapped out as this one! It takes me a few attempts to drive off, pulling away seems like a great and greater challenge as each moment passes. I stall the engine again, remembering back to my driving lessons I try and work my way through each step but I’m having no luck at all. Now the car won’t stay on, the engine is coughing, spluttering and running very badly. I pump the gas attempting to keep the car alive long enough to be able to drive to the mall, I’m going to need all the luck in the world for that journey!
