Due to some technical difficulties it's been a while since I've been able to do any filming and it's been even longer since I've fired up the Renault 5 - actually months! It's been standing since the beginning of June, so after leaving it's battery on charge overnight, it's time to see what the car has in store for me. Either it's going to start up first time and run like a dream, or I'm just going to end up with another fail on my hands... Well, I end up getting both! Some pedal pumping & fiddling with the choke gets the car spluttering, catching, idling then cutting out. Although there's no logic to this madness and trying to get this car started leaves me stumped! Everything I thought I knew about old cars has now totally gone out of the window now!
